Scientists just designed a miniprotein that talks to your body from the outside
Instead of drugs that have to cross your cell membrane like tiny thieves sneaking through a fence, these new proteins can stand outside and send signals without entering the house.
This means we could build entirely new kinds of therapies that work at cell surfaces, opening doors for treating diseases where current drugs can't reach or cause too much collateral damage.
