• FOREX — daily mid-market reference rates for EUR, USD, and GBP (indicative timing context; not a bank or card app execution quote).

Remittance rates come from our data collection workflow and provider quotes; FOREX reference rates are sourced from public ECB-based feeds. Always confirm live pricing in the app or on the provider’s site before you transfer or convert.

What is Gursha? (ጉርሻ)

In Ethiopia and Eritrea, Gursha means more than a bite of food—it’s an intimate act of feeding someone by hand to show love, respect, and belonging. SendGursha was named after this tradition, because sending money home is our gursha: a simple but powerful way to care for the people who matter most, even from far away.
